Aug 6 Summer Blooms at Hampton

In early July I was lucky enough to go to the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and nothing could have prepared me for the riot of colour I got to see.It was a photographers paradise and I couldn't put my camera down for more than a few seconds.Amongst all the classic and beautiful roses there were also some really unusual plants such as bright,neon coloured orchids and cactus.

Foxglove flurry. I stumbled upon this little area of coppiced wood and foxgloves were sprouting up everywhere- one of my favorite flowers and much loved by the bees too. They seem to pop up anywhere and everywhere.

I'm not too sure what this plant is- any plant enthusiasts know? But the bees absolutely love it- it's covered in them all day long.
