It was a sunny evening when we headed to the South of the Island- our destination was the mysterious sounding Oa- pronounced ‘oh’. A wild peninsula and RSPB nature reserve, accessible only by a dirt track road, the cliffs here at their highest rise to 200m above sea level.

In the glorious evening light, the sun exposed the colours and textures of the rugged coast line-rocky pinnacles carved out of the earth whilst waves rolled in off the Atlantic battering the beach below.

After taking some images high up where we were treated to fantastic panoramic views, I wanted to get down to the beach and get some close-up shots of the cliffs- racing to get the best of the golden hour light my dad and I tumbled and crawled down the cliff edge to the beach-it is a bit steep in places but worth the effort!
