Late Autumn delivers the best colours- it’s now that we see the burnished golds and the russet reds at their best. The large trees like the Oak and the Beech seem to be some of the last to shed their leaves, and on a sunny weekend, I was treated to a wonderful show of colour at the National Trust Scotney Castle Estate.

A golden weekend for sure.
